Juan Marulanda is a Colombian composer and music engraver whose work spans contemporary concert music, jazz, and Colombian musical traditions. His compositions have been performed internationally and recognized with awards including two Colombian National Music Awards and first prize in the “Ciudad Santa Fe de Bogotá” Composition Contest.

He is founder of Scoremusical, serves on the board of ACCOMPÁS, and has consulted for Colombia’s Ministry of Culture. An experienced educator, he has taught composition and theory in Colombia and the United States.
